Kent Students' Union is a charity that supports students at the University of Kent. At Kent Students' Union, we know how important it is for students to have the opportunity to earn extra money while studying.
We are here to provide the best student experiences on the planet. We do this by standing up for students, helping them have the best time at Kent and preparing them for life after Kent. We are clear about our values as an organisation and for the people who work and volunteer here – we are Bold, Inclusive and Supportive.
Our outlets include The Venue nightclub, Woody's bar and restaurant, two Co-op stores, and the Library Café all based on the Canterbury campus. We also have our online employment services - Jobshop, assisting University of Kent students in Canterbury and Medway to find part-time, temporary and seasonal employment. We run commercial services to provide Kent students with valuable job opportunities on campus, helping them build essential employability skills and experience for their CV which will help them be successful in the competitive job market.

The Venue is Kent Union's nightclub which plays host to a wide range of artists and events across the academic year including, Dick and Dom, Shy FX and Andy C (just to name a few). We are looking for a team of Student Staff to support us over the summer, you must be available July-September to work various shifts across the week for events at The Venue on Canterbury campus.

Retail Date Code Check Assistant at KSU Coop - Full Time
Are you looking for a position within retail to kick start your career? We're looking for someone with great attention to detail to be responsible for ensuring the Coop reductions and wastage routines are being correctly complete each day, food wastage is kept to a minimum, supporting the replenishment of the store, supporting serve at the checkouts and working afternoon to evening shifts (Monday to Friday 15:00-23:00 term time, 14:00-22:00 non-term time) in line with the reduction time periods.

Kent Union's Licenced Trade Department is one of the Union's largest customer-facing departments and runs 5 outlets – The Library Cafe, Woody's and The Venue – across the Canterbury campus.
