The Venue is Kent Union's nightclub which plays host to a wide range of artists and events across the academic year including, Dick and Dom, Shy FX and Andy C (just to name a few). It first opened in 1998 and has continued to improve and remain Kent Union's largest Licenced Trade outlet. The Venue it home to the Wednesday night with our very own Vensday as well as other Weekly nights covering all music genres.

Licensed Trade Assistant, The Venue Student Staff
Responsible to:
Director of Kent Union Trading Limited, Deputy Director of Kent Union Trading Limited, The Venue General Manager, The Venue Assistant Manager and Team Leaders.
Purpose of the post:
The post holder will be a member of the Licensed Trade Department, which manages a large nightclub, a cafe and a bar. The post-holder will exceed customer expectations at all times and work within a busy nightclub environment.

Please Note:
Successful applicants must be available to complete relevant department training. The attendance of these courses is a mandatory requirement from the post-holder.
Applicants for this post must be available to work at The Venue over summer at various events. Some of these events take place during late hours with finishes potentially up to 4am. Applicants not available to work over the summer break will not be considered for this round of recruitment.
