Kent Students' Union is a charity that supports students at the University of Kent. At Kent Students' Union, we know how important it is for students to have the opportunity to earn extra money while studying.
We are here to provide the best student experiences on the planet. We do this by standing up for students, helping them have the best time at Kent and preparing them for life after Kent. Our outlets include The Venue nightclub, Woody's bar and restaurant, two Co-op stores, and the Library Café all based on the Canterbury campus. We also have our online employment services - Jobshop, assisting University of Kent students in Canterbury and Medway to find part-time, temporary and seasonal employment. We run commercial services to provide Kent students with valuable job opportunities on campus, helping them build essential employability skills and experience for their CV which will help them be successful in the competitive job market.

The post holder will be responsible for staff motivation, front of house supervision and ensuring The Venue exceeds customer expectations. The post holder will be responsible for stock and cash control. Authority and direction is delegated from the Union’s Trustees, via the Commercial Operations Manager, The Venue General Manager and the Venue Assistant Manager. £13.95 per hour including holiday pay

The post holder will be a member of the Licensed Trade Department, and will be responsible for staff motivation, staff training and coaching and front of house supervision whilst ensuring we exceed the customers expectations. £14.33 per hour.
