Assignment: Student Brand Ambassador for The Venue (Rnb Project/Soundclash)

Assignment/job description 

The Kent Students’ Union Marketing department is looking for a creative, high-energy student to become the face (and the creative force) behind The Venue’s most iconic club nights.

As our Brand Ambassador for RnB Project and Soundclash, you won't just be supporting the team you’ll be the one capturing the vibe. You will work closely with the Commercial Marketing Executive to bring our events to life through authentic, trend-driven content.

Person spec:

· The Vibe: You must genuinely love RnB (specifically the RnB Project and Soundclash genres such as Hip-Hop and Rap).

· Create & Hype: Produce high-energy promotional content including TikTok trends, Reels and creative teasers. Proven experience in creating content (whether for your personal brand or a business)

· Be the face: Host on-camera interviews with students during events.

· On-camera confidence: You are comfortable, charismatic, and authentic when presenting or being filmed.

· Tech savvy: Expert at editing high-quality video content on an iPhone using Capcut or similar apps.

· Execute ideas: Bring your own creative concepts to life to drive ticket sales and engagement.

· Availability: You are happy to work late-night events to capture content and are comfortable chatting with students in a club environment.

· Organised: Strong time management skills to balance content creation with deadlines.

· Communication: Able to create punchy, engaging content that resonates with the Kent student body.

Hours: On average 14 hours per month, term time. 

Location: On campus at The Venue Nightclub, also option to work from home during editing hours when applicable.

Anticipated start date: W/C 16^th March 2026

Hourly rate: Age related minimum wage.
