Congregations July 2025 – Gowning Assistants, Canterbury

We’re looking for up to 16 enthusiastic temps per day to join the gowning team for a 5-day event at the July Congregations in Canterbury City. This is a paid opportunity and a fantastic way to be part of one of the biggest events of the year!

Get a behind-the-scenes look at what your own graduation might look like, support this year’s graduands, and help make their day run smoothly.

The event is managed by a team of experienced career staff, supported by student ambassadors and volunteers. While staff are always available to handle any issues, we’re looking for temps who are confident, proactive, approachable, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Set up day Sunday 20th July – start time 1pm, finish time TBC
  • Assisting graduands with gowns and caps
  • Signposting and responding to general enquiries
  • Helping with set-up and clear-down at the end of the day
