Location: The Corn Exchange, Rochester

We’re looking for up to 10 enthusiastic temps to join the gowning team at the July Congregations event in Rochester. This is a paid opportunity and a fantastic way to be part of one of the biggest events of the year!

Get a behind-the-scenes look at what your own graduation might look like, support this year’s graduands, and help make their day run smoothly.

The event is managed by a team of experienced career staff, supported by student ambassadors and volunteers. While staff are always available to handle any issues, we’re looking for temps who are confident, proactive, approachable, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Set up day Sunday 13th July - Start time 14.00pm finish time TBC, support the team in setting up for the event.
• Event Day 14th July – Start time TBC (in previous years it’s been a 7.30am start time)
• Assisting graduands with gowns and caps.
• Signposting and responding to general enquiries.
• Help clear-down at the end of the day.

Volume of staff required: Up to 10 temps per day, but this is subject to change in accordance with the clients’ needs.

You must be able to attend both days as induction training will be provided on the set up day.

• All breaks are paid
• Lunch and refreshments are provided on event day.
• Transport: If you're travelling from Canterbury or Medway campus , please plan your journey in advance. The train is the most convenient option, with just a 5-minute walk to the venue.

Age related pay - 18/20 £11.91 per hour 21+ £13.68 per hour
